Data Recycling awarded the GreenTech Innovation label

Systnaps receives the prestigious GreenTech Innovation label for its Data Recycling® solution
We are proud to announce that Systnaps has received the prestigious GreenTech Innovation label, an award granted by the French Ministry for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition. The label recognises our commitment and our innovation in green technology with Data Recycling®, our solution for responsible, efficient data governance and management.
Who are we?
Systnaps was founded more than 15 years ago with one ambition: to accelerate the digital, analytics and AI transformation of companies while meeting legal, regulatory and eco-responsibility requirements.
A mark of trust and innovation
Earning the GreenTech Innovation label is a mark of trust for our partners and customers. It attests to the relevance and the positive environmental impact of our solution. Unlike mere green-washing initiatives, this label validates our sustainable approach and our efforts to deliver significant environmental benefits.

The Data Recycling® approach
At Systnaps, we have developed an innovative solution for circular data governance and management that makes it possible to:
- Accelerate your Data/AI projects by quickly bringing your data estate under control.
- Reduce the carbon footprint of data and of the IT infrastructure that supports it.
- Optimise lifecycle management, quality and the recycling of data as an intangible resource.
- Promote the circular economy of data in the digital sector — bringing data into the set of resources that belong in the circular economy.
A unique integrated methodology: M4R®

It embeds an approach that is unique worldwide, M4R®:
- MAP: in under a week, our tool automatically maps stored data, making it understandable and accessible.
- REGULATE: ensure compliance with every standard and regulation applicable to your data.
- REDUCE: cut the volume of dark data and ROT data (Redundant, Obsolete, Trivial), along with the risk to individuals and the risk of non-compliance.
- REUSE: easily reuse and share data from estates under control, to avoid pointless re-collection or duplication.
- RECYCLE: store data in progressively less energy-hungry tiers according to how available it needs to be. Delete useless data. Give data a second life (a later purpose). Track environmental impact data across the whole lifecycle of the asset.
Continuous innovation
We will keep innovating and developing environmentally respectful solutions. Earning the Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label from the Bertrand Piccard Foundation, and now GreenTech Innovation, strengthens our determination to play a key role in the ecological transition and to offer our customers reliable, sustainable solutions.
Adopting Data Recycling® means cutting:
- 40% off the duration of digital and Data/AI projects, for a fast ROI with less effort
- 40% off the carbon, energy and storage footprint of data in the BUILD phase, and 15% to 20% in the RUN phase
The challenge
- Digital overload is becoming a real threat to our planet. An alarming build-up of digital data is accumulating in our systems: no less than 80% of stored data is either redundant, obsolete and trivial (ROT), or entirely unused — known as dark data. This accumulation not only clogs our digital infrastructure but also contributes significantly to the ecological footprint of the IT sector, worsening global environmental problems.
- Growing regulatory, technical and usage constraints
The data management landscape is made ever more complex by requirements such as:
• Complex regulations: RGESN, GDPR, Data Act, AI Act, CSRD…
• Complex environmental reporting
• Uncontrolled data estates (ROT, dark data)
• Chaotic, siloed and costly data management
• Multi-cloud, multi-format technical environments
• The unprecedented acceleration in the use of artificial intelligence
• A real and indisputable ecological impact
What it means for companies
Through our M4R® approach (Map, Regulate, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), we actively contribute to the ecological and circular transition while delivering measurable economic and environmental benefits.
Adopting Data Recycling® means not only reducing your operating costs but also taking part in an eco-responsible initiative — strengthening your CSR while optimising the management of your data.
