Reducing the carbon footprint of HR data
As part of a drive for energy sobriety and operational efficiency, Dassault Systèmes turned to software vendor Systnaps to better manage the end of life of personal data relating to its employees.
Since the European Union adopted the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in 2016 — two years before it officially came into force on 25 May 2018 — Dassault Systèmes (3DS) decided to launch a project to bring its worldwide HR database into compliance. The aim was to guarantee that every one of the company's tools complied with data privacy legislation. All systems and tools across 3DS entities were audited and a remediation plan was launched to ensure compliance in this area, both nationally and locally.
