Decommissioning, archiving and reversibility of HR applications

Client: ENGIE — Energy sector.
As part of the Convergence programme: decommissioning, regulatory archiving and reversibility of the group's HR and Payroll applications, with GDPR compliance.
Context
- Convergence of all administrative-management and payroll information systems in France, to rationalise structures and costs.
- Operating the 7 HR and Payroll applications of several group entities within its shared-service centre: Engie Global Business Services (GBS).
- Recovering and reclaiming the various HRIS, including GDPR compliance of the databases.
Levers
Systnaps' tooled solutions and proven methodologies made it possible to:
- Obtain a 360° view of an individual through a business-object approach.
- Take over a production environment with 5 years of history plus the current year and heavy customisation.
- Gain visibility over naming standards and semantics, where concatenated information had made the (HR Access) databases unreadable directly.
Approach
- Splitting the project by legal HR entity: a pilot, then rollout across all entities.
- Decommissioning the on-premise HR Access application, with regulatory archiving of data for access in case of litigation, rights requests or reporting.
- Setting up regular regulatory-archiving campaigns of production environments.
- Testing data reversibility.
Results
Securing the reclaiming of our HR systems to guarantee the Convergence plan.
